The concept of this series is to have the visitors discover interest or something new
in those they are familiar with by putting wonderful things that are often overlooked
in our daily lives into artworks.
The motif photo was taken in Japanese flower market.
Later when I verified the photo at home,
I found it like the artwork “Flower” of Andy Warhol
so I decided to make homage.
While playing rhyme with vivid colors,
I printed into film and photographic paper.
It expresses unique way of view with the approach of taking these different materials together.

日常の、見過ごしがちな素晴らしいモノを取り上げて作品化することで
鑑賞者が何気ないモノに対して面白みや発見を感じてもらえれば…が
この作品シリーズのコンセプトとなります。
モチーフとなる写真は日本の花市に出向いたときに撮影しました。
後日、自宅で写真を確認するとまるでアンディ･ウォーホルの「花」の作品に
見えたのがキッカケで、そのオマージュ作品の製作を決意。
鮮やかな色彩の韻を踏みつつ、フィルムと印画紙に印刷。
それら異素材同士を重ねるというアプローチにより独特の見え方を表現しています。
